Casa de Panton

Esta acuarela es una casa de Panton en la Ribera Sacra donde estuvimos varios días y desde donde visitamos las iglesias antiguas, el Cañón del Sil y una bodega. El vino de la Ribera Sacra es estupendo. Recomiendo que se pruebe el blanco.

This watercolor is a house of Panton in Ribera Sacra, where we spent several days and from there we were to see old churchs, Sil canyon and a wine cellar. The wine of Ribera Sacra is a very good one. You should test it especially the white wine.

Ribera Sacra

Fui a la Ribera Sacra en Galicia con mis amigos de la Facultad de Ciencias. Pasamos varios días visitando iglesias del siglo XI y XII y el famoso cañón del Sil. Se puede saber mas sobre la Ribera Sacra aquí. Estuvimos en el Rectoral de Castillon una casa rural del Siglo XVII que es el motivo de mi pintura, Me fue imposible pintar al exterior porque estuvimos muy ocupados visitando lugares de modo que tome un montón de fotos.
Mis amigos fueron a Santiago de Compostela a visitar la Catedral de Santiago, pero yo preferí irme a mi casa en Galicia. Pensé que podía pintar al aire libre pero hizo mucho viento y lluvia de modo que me fue imposible pintar afuera.
Mis siguientes pinturas estarán basadas en las fotos que tomé.

I went to Ribera Sacra in Galicia with my friends of University. We spend several days visiting Churchs built in centuries XI and XII and the fomous Canyon of Sil. You can read in English more about Ribera Sacra here. We stayed at Rectoral de Castillón a rural house former 17th- century and this is my painting. I couldn't paint outside was very busy watching places so I took a lot of pictures.
My friends went to Santiago de Compostela to visit the Cathedral of Saint James but I went to my home in Galicia. I thought could paint "plain air". When We were there the wether changed to windy and rainy so it was impossible to paint outside.
