My intention was to paint out of home, but the wether is too cold and there is winds on 80 Kms/h., according to Service Meteorological, and I'm not used to paint flying in the air yet. Last week I took 40 photos not too far away to my house, while I was walking around I could see some places from which had interesting paintings to do. If I can't get out I'll paint some ilex, there are a lot of them and now they have colors ochre and green, although there isn't any with the same color certainly.
Meanwhile, in this painting what I wanted was to display the grass anarchic growing and a strange tree against the light.

  3. I love your colors in the shadows! The blue rocks especially. They play so nice with the distant sunshine. The entanglement up the tree trunk is equally intriguing. Well done!

I hope the weather permits you to go paint plein air more often...

  8. Julian, you mean you can not paint and fly at the same time? I would like to do a painting of you flying and painting :) Watch my blog...it might just happen...If you go and paint in the wind, you might just end up at my house. We can paint together.
Another beautiful, not wc, painting. The blue rocks remind me of Robin's eggs (bird). That would have to be one giant bird. I loved how you used that same color up the tree in the shadow. Good repeat of color.

  12. Hi Kathy, I don't have enough training yet on how flying and painting at the same time, but I'll pass for your blog, I coudn't do it before because I was very busy at swimming in my river where you threw me. MPDR.
You are right, the blue things are eggs. MPDR.
Actually, I was not too much convinced about them, but thanks Kathy I am glad with your visit and comment so benevolent. We will watch each other.

  18. Hi Julian, you know I have to come back on your remarks to me....I am glad that you know how to swim...I would have jumped in to save you, but I do not swim so why should I drown for you. We haven't even met yet. I will keep coming back to this painting to see if birds crack open your rocks...then we will know for sure if they are eggs or not....MPDR

  19. Kathy, luckily when I was 16 years old, I was accostumed to swiming several miles every day. You should learn to swim for if someone throws you at Chicago dock and I will not be there, furthermore It's impossible I can recognize you from your blog's photo.
I think for today I have using quite enough English. Auf Wiedersehen.

  20. jajajaaaaa!!! que gracia tenes, por favor!! "no consigo pintar volando por el aire"! :D

  24. Ok Julian, I will learn how to swim so I can swim over to visit. Can I use your paints when I get there. I do not think I would be good enough to swim with them on my back right away. Maybe next month I would. MPDR
